Like most people I own more than one email accounts… I created each of them having specific tasks in mind. My yahoo account gets really big amount of spam messages and as you may have guessed, I use it mostly for registrations in not trusted websites.
The majority of the incoming messages are unwanted advertisements with no unsubscribe link. The spam filter does it’s job but many of them manage to bypass it…I understand the difficulty of handling and sorting so many and usually cleverly made emails.
As said in previous post for me the worst thing is not a spam message in the inbox but a false alarm.
In this case, Yahoo marked a not-spam incoming message as spam. Ok, sometimes things go wrong. I marked it as safe and replied. I was sure that it had learned its lesson.
It did not. Today, I digged through my huge spam folder and the reply was there…among pills, money making scams and newsletters I never registered for.
After this incident, yahoo is not my first choice when it comes to email services (not that it was before :p).
